Welcome to The Reason, my personal webpage.  Here you will find my thoughts and feelings on the hope that I have in Christ.  As a Christian, I feel that it is important to “…be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect…” (1 Peter 3:15).  It is my goal to present my own personal reasons for the hope that I have, so that my readers can better understand what it means for me to be a Christian.

I am a teacher, a preacher, and a missionary. I am a son, a husband, and a father. I am not much different from many other Christians in the world. But I feel that I am part of the quiet majority, those decent men and women that try to live their Christian faith in this world, but not of it.

My voice is one of many that speaks out for Christ.  I cannot speak for all Christians, but I can speak for the faith that is in my own heart and the Christian life I try to live day by day.  I hope to speak out for those whose faith has called them to follow Christ and His teachings, and to speak against those who profess His name, but do not do the Father’s will (Matthew 7:21).
